Through the FFM, individuals and small businesses can compare health plans, get answers to questions, determine eligibility for lower out-of-pocket costs and enroll in health plans. Insurance plans in the FFM are offered by private insurance companies, as are plans offered in the private market. If you are eligible for federal tax subsidies under the ACA, they will be available to you when you purchase health insurance through the FFM.
