Senior Happy Hour – Metro Drug Coalition

Have you ever wondered how you can be sure that you're taking your medicines as prescribed? Are you properly storing your medications? What are you supposed to do with medications that you no longer use? What safety measures can you take if you accidentally take too much of a certain medication? Metro Drug Coalition is here to answer your questions about medication safety for seniors, and to provide tips to make sure that your home is as safe as possible. Bethany Lemons, Prevention & Outreach Coordinator at Metro Drug Coalition, will be speaking on Wednesday, August 30 from 3-4 p.m. She will be sharing her presentation “Medication Safety: Tips for Seniors”. This event is free and open-to-the-public. Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be provided for your enjoyment throughout the event.
