1. Check to see that you have the right insurance card for the next time you visit the doctor in 2015.
Did you change your health or drug plan during AEP? If you did and you haven’t received your new card or welcome packet by January 1st, you can contact your plan directly, or call our office to have a member of our team assist you in getting it.
2. Schedule appointments to get any preventive tests or screenings.Talk to your doctor about these covered preventive services to figure out what’s right for your health needs or visit http://www.medicare.gov/coverage/preventive-and-screening-services.html for a list of preventive and screening services.
Medicare covers a multitude of preventive services to keep you healthy and screenings to search for potential health issues, and several of these services are covered each year at no cost to you.
3. Make sure your drug or health plan meet your needs.
If you aren’t satisfied with your current coverage, set up an appointment with one of our Benefit Specialists at Senior Financial Group so that we can help you reevaluate your plan.
4.Attend one of our free Medicare Q&A Seminars at Summit Medical Group.
