This week we are breaking down an example of a letter of notice policyholders could potentially receive from their health insurance company.
You may only receive this letter if you have an individual insurance policy. (For the sake of this illustration, we’re using a real letter from Humana.) As you can see in the example below, you will be notified your plan is ending and informed that you need to select a new plan by December 15th, 2016 in order to have coverage come January 1, 2017.
Whether you have Humana or a different plan, you could be in this very same situation.
