Walk to End Alzheimer’s
It is time to put on your walking shoes and walk to end Alzheimer’s. This year Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be on Saturday 26, 2015 at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville Campus.
Every year the Alzheimer’s Association puts on a walk to raise funds for further care, support, and research efforts for the association. The Alzheimer’s Association is a nonprofit 501©3 organization whose mission is to find a cure to Alzheimer’s while raising awareness about this disease. To learn more about this disease click here.
The Walk is a wonderful event that you can participate in to help the Alzheimer’s Association reach their goals. All you need to do is go online to www.alz.org. Gather your friends, family, co-workers, or even strangers to join your team and help you raise money. Every little bit helps! Hey if you raise a minimum of $100 you get a t-shirt that’s great! If walking is not your thing you can always volunteer the day of the event. We need volunteers to help set-up, cleanup, registration, water stops, promise garden, and much more.
